Florida Forward/Solving the Immigration Puzzle– The Orlando Sentinel is hosting another session of our Florida Forward forums- this one on immigration policy and the prospects for reform. The event will be on Wed., May 7 at Church Street Ballroom from 11:30-2:30. Sitting on the panel will be former US Florida Senator, Mel Martinez; VP for Domestic & Economic Policy Studies, The Heritage Foundation Derrick Morgan; Federation for American Immigration Reform’s Media Director, Ira Mehiman; Board of Director’s VP for the Florida Immigrant Coalition, Melissa McGuire-Maniau and Ben Monterroso, National Executive Director with Mi Familia Vota.
