Carols Vives, the two-time Grammy®-winning and 11-time Latin Grammy®-winning Colombian singer/songwriter who pioneered the integration of the indigenous and vallenato sounds of his country into popular music, hits the road again in support of his recent album, “Vives.” Produced by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), the Vives Tour U.S.A. 2018 kicks off at Orlando’s Amway Center on Friday, September 14. Tickets go on sale to general public Friday, April 20 at 10 a.m.
“I am so thrilled to return to touring in the U.S.! I am excited to reunite with my fans, so we can sing my latest hits from ‘Vives’ together as well as the classics,” said Vives.
With more than 20 million albums sold, Vives’ most recent Latin Grammy came in 2016 for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for, “La Bicicleta,” a collaboration with Grammy and Latin Grammy-winner, Shakira. Vives’ latest 18-track album, “Vives” features, “La Bicicleta,” and his latest hit, “Robarte Un Beso (“Steal A Kiss From You”).” The album also includes a children’s song, “Monsieur Bigoté,” featuring the voices of Vives’ children, Elena and Pedro and the Rio Grande Music School chorus. The album explores themes of love, peace and other important issues and Vives hoped to share these messages to encourage people to live their lives to the fullest.
